He enlisted on 4th July 1915 in Calgary Mark was a Sergeant in the 50th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry He died on the 10th August 1918 fighting in WWI in France He is listed on the Vimy Memorial in France, Pas de Calais His names is commemorated on page 514 of the First World War Book of Remembrance (which is shown below)
